Cambridge Tutors College in South Croydon is celebrating another strong set of A-Level results that feature a number of outstanding individual achievements. As a result, most students will now study at their first choice of university – including Cambridge, LSE, UCL, Imperial and Durham.
Jian Yi Kok (pictured above) will go on to study Natural Sciences at Cambridge after achieving three A*s and one A. Others celebrating at least three A*s include Ruya Kang who will study Mathematics and Statistics at Imperial, and Mithali Mittra having achieved three A* and two A grades is now off to read Economics at UCL. Four straight A’s including an A* sees Nicole Johnson successful in her application to read Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Durham.
The Principal of CTC, Dr Chris Drew commented, “We must applaud our students for the dedication and commitment to their studies that has resulted in another impressive set of A-Level results. Many of our students come from overseas so the development of their Academic English has been an added ingredient in their learning experience.
“Thanks must go to our experienced team of Tutors who have all worked closely with the students throughout the academic year.”
The International Independent Sixth Form College, boasting students from 34 different countries, are delighted with curriculum-wide successes in their highly-academic A-Level program. Students in Mathematics performed extremely well once again as 62% of grades were A*-A.
