CTC Students (historians and non-historians, including all the boarders) enjoyed a trip to Portsmouth where they visited the new Mary Rose Museum, HMS Victory and HMS Warrior (launched 1860). There was a satisfying degree of interest and enthusiasm: Olivia Eksarho (a non-historian who wants to do medicine) remarked “I think I am living in the wrong century”.
