Passing of former tutor John Norman

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Norman who passed away at home on Wednesday night following months of treatment for cancer.
John joined the College in 1984 initially as Law Tutor but also later taught Government and Politics and IELTS.

John was a pivotal member of staff and did much to advance the success of the College, he served on both Tutors Committee and the Trust Council, his legal training as a Barrister being of great assistance and support. His students will also remember him fondly, he was an immensely popular tutor, students in his classes usually receiving uniformly top grades. He was dedicated to his students, his colleagues and to CTC.

Our heartfelt condolences are extended to his family and friends at this sad time.

The service was held at Norwood Crematorium in April 2021 attended by Senior Tutor Gerald Coombes, former Chairman Chris Dixon and Luzia Norman
