Aims & Ethos

Dr. Ishari K. Ganesh, Chairman of the Vels Group of Institutions, founded the group in 1992, and it has since grown into a global network of 52 institutions across 34 campuses. These institutions serve 48,000 students with a staff of 7,700 in India, Singapore, the UK, and the UAE. The Vels Group offers a wide range of secondary and tertiary education programs in fields such as medicine, engineering, nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy, marine engineering, nautical science, aviation, arts and sciences, business, commerce, education, music, dance, hospitality, and mass communication.
Dr. Ganesh’s vision for Cambridge Tutors College in South Croydon emphasizes holistic education and student empowerment. He aims to introduce higher education programs at the college, maintaining its tradition of small cohort sizes and personalized attention, ensuring that each student receives individualized support for academic success.

About us

CTC London is dedicated to helping every one of our students reach their top potential within a multi-cultural and adult-focused environment. Our aim is to nurture the academic success, life skills and self-confidence required to be independent learners in higher education and to achieve their absolute best in all of life’s challenges.

An inclusive community spanning over 25 different nationalities, CTC welcomes people from all over the world and from every faith and background. With the welfare of each of our students as the core focus in everything we do, we encourage good relationships and attitudes in order to maximise their personal development and happiness. We instil in them a desire to work hard, enjoy their studies and participate fully in the College’s diverse activities and as a result, we see excellent grades, top university enrolment and the annual graduation of well-balanced, enthusiastic young adults.
