Young Enterprise is a national scheme for A Level students who are interested in Business, Accounting and Finance, Management or Economics. The programme aims to create a real-world experience of entrepreneurship by tasking students with the job of creating and running a business, generating a profit and competing with other local teams for the coveted prize of Company of the year. Products made and sold by Young Enterprise companies can range from jewellery to scented candles to ‘digital apps’.  Cambridge Tutors College has a very long-standing and proud tradition of participation in Young Enterprise and many of our teams have had success at the Croydon area finals. This year, one of our teams has even made it through to the South London finals! – team member Iuliia Promskaia said ‘Young Enterprise has been an amazing experience for me and I’ve learnt so much about running a business. Making it through to the South London finals moves us one step closer to winning the national competition!!’ Another 2016 CTC Young Enterprise achiever Pitou Keo said of the scheme “Young Enterprise has completely changed the way I understand Business. It has given me the skills and the confidence to hopefully one day run my own successful company!” We at CTC look forward to sharing in the successes of our 2016-2017 Young Enterprise Achievers.
