Cambridge Tutors College (CTC) is celebrating the findings of their recent Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) inspection – with the college awarded the highest possible ratings for their educational provision.

CTC, an International Independent Sixth Form College located in South Croydon, attained the top grading (excellent) in:

• The quality of the students’ academic and other achievements
• The quality of students’ personal development

Dr Chris Drew, CTC Principal, commented, “I am truly delighted with the findings of the recent ISI inspection. To achieve the highest possible ratings is an accurate reflection of this unique educational institution. Students are keen to work and our experienced and enthusiastic teachers nurture the talent and potential from each individual at CTC.’’

“My thanks go to the entire CTC staff body, and in particular, the students themselves for their dedication to study and the commitment to fully integrate into our international community.”

Key findings to support the excellent rating in the quality of the students’ academic and other achievements included:

“Students are competent learners who acquire knowledge, understanding and skills rapidly. They are effective communicators and have outstanding attitudes to learning, taking charge of their own progress.’’

“Strong leadership, small class sizes and dedicated teaching staff are strong contributory factors to students’ successful academic outcomes.”

When rating the quality of the students’ personal development as excellent, ISI’s findings included:

“The college is a diverse and vibrant international community in which students exhibit very high levels of mutual tolerance and respect.’’

‘’Students exhibit high levels of self-esteem and self-awareness, and are supported individually and collectively by dedicated staff.”

CTC were also found to meet fully all the standards of the Focused Compliance inspection conducted at the same time. The full report is available for download from the link below:
